1. What services do you offer for non-brides?

Tymia offers photoshoot / event makeup, permanent makeup, individual and group makeup lessons, beauty / airbrush makeup and film / tv makeup.  She also offers male grooming, lash and brow services.

2. Do you travel to your clients?

Yes as long as the dates you requested are available, Tymia will come to your location for an additional fee. Please contact Tymia directly for questions regarding traveling at tymia@tymiayvette.com

3. How should I prepare for my NovaLash eyelash extension appointment?

On the day you get your lash extensions, you should avoid curling your lashes or wearing any makeup. 

4. How should I prepare for a brow lamination? 

Starting about two weeks before your brow lamination, stop using retinoids, exfoliants, and AHAs on your face. You should also stop tweezing your brow hairs at this time. Your face should be clean and makeup-free when you arrive for your appointment. If you’re following the proper aftercare, your lamination should last about six weeks.

5.  What are the benefits of eyelash extensions?

Eyelash extensions give you refreshed-looking eyes. It also gives you the appearance of makeup without the makeup routine. If applied correctly, extensions that can help the growth of natural lashes.   

6. What is the difference between brow tint and brow henna treatments?

Brow henna colors / tints not only the eyebrow hairs but also the skin underneath. The soft to dark shadow effect on the skin has the appearance of a tattoo. Brow tint only tints the hair. Tint can last on the hairs 4-5 weeks. Henna will last up anywhere between five days to two weeks. How long the henna is visible on the skin depends on various factors and varies per skin type and lifestyle.

7. How should I prepare for a lash lift and how long does it last?

If you use any lash growth serum, stop applying it one or two days before our appointment. The day of your lash lift, you shouldn’t be wearing any eye makeup or false lashes. If you’re a contact lens wearer, remove them beforehand. Usually, your lashes will stay lifted for about six to eight weeks following your appointment.
